AMAZE Amsterdam
02 · About the exhibition
Amsterdam
AMAZE Amsterdam is a permanent walk-through attraction devoted to immersive audiovisual art, set inside a former industrial warehouse in the Sloterdijk area of Amsterdam. It is run by the Dutch events company ID&T, which brings the visual language of festivals indoors.
Across several rooms, visitors encounter festival-style light shows, lasers, projections, sound installations and interactive digital art. There is no fixed route: you move at your own pace, and a full visit takes about one hour.
The visit unfolds room by room, each with its own scenario of light and sound: dense laser scenes alternate with spaces where projections and music merge into a single moving image.
Because no one guides you through the warehouse, the experience feels closer to a festival site or a club than to a classic exhibition. The interactive works invite you to step into the picture rather than watch it from a distance, and the hour passes quickly.
- AMAZE is located at Elementenstraat 25, 1014 AR Amsterdam, in the Sloterdijk area.
- Opening hours are Monday and Wednesday to Thursday 12:00 to 18:00, Friday until 19:00, Saturday 11:00 to 19:00 and Sunday 11:00 to 18:00; on Tuesdays the venue is closed.
- Timed tickets are on sale year round, with early bird prices from EUR 19.75.
