02 · About the exhibition

Bordeaux

The Bassins des Lumières in Bordeaux is Culturespaces' largest immersive centre, set in a former World War II submarine base on the Quai de Bacalan.

Since 7 February 2026 it has run Matisse, A Symphony of Colors plus Frida Kahlo, Oniria and Ocean (until 30 September 2026); the projections reflect on the water basins, crossed on foot or by boat.

Four underground basin halls serve as the projection surface; the walk leads along and above the water.

Open daily 10:00-19:00 (September); tickets via tickets.bassins-lumieres.com.
