Pink Floyd: The Dark Side of the Moon
02 · About the exhibition
The Hague
Fifty years after its release, The Dark Side of the Moon returns in a form it has never taken before. This band-endorsed fulldome show was created for the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd's 1973 album and fills the entire screen of the Omniversum dome in The Hague with 51 minutes of music and imagery. It is part of the regular evening programme at Museon-Omniversum and is currently bookable, with screenings listed from 25 September to 21 October 2026.
The solar system visuals come from NSC Creative and Aubrey Powell (Hipgnosis). The album plays in its entirety in surround sound while the images move across the dome above the audience.
For 51 minutes, the music fills the room in surround sound while images of the solar system are projected across the whole dome screen overhead. The show dates from 2023 and is suitable for all ages.
The screening takes place in the evening, with selected shows starting at 20:30. Since it belongs to the regular dome evening programme, you can attend the film without a museum ticket, which makes it an easy standalone evening out in The Hague.
