About the exhibition
Lleida'Psychoflage' is a large-format multisensory interactive installation by artist Mónica Rikić in El Pati of the MORERA museum in Lleida, running from 17 May 2025 to 31 December 2026.
Twenty inflatable sculptures are fitted with handcrafted interactive electronics that control their fans and lights.
The space turns into a world of dreams and psychedelic fantasy: the floating sculptures breathe in a slow rhythm, a reference to meditation and relaxation practices.
Instead of the usual metaphors of productivity, speed and competition, the work invites a calm, relaxed approach to cognitive, or smart, technologies, close to a spiritual experience.

- Central to Rikić's practice is the question of what characteristics artificial cognitive systems would need in order to be considered existing and sensitive organisms.
