Lyon
The Fête des Lumières is France's biggest light art festival: for four evenings, projections and light installations take over the whole of Lyon, from Place des Terreaux to Fourvière.
The 2026 edition runs 5 to 8 December 2026; the artistic programme has not been announced yet, with the call for projects open.
Over four consecutive evenings, monument projections and light installations appear across the city.
The main programme is free to attend.
