02 · About the exhibition

Mannheim

Winterlichter is an annual winter light-art trail set in Mannheim's Luisenpark. The festival is organized by the event company World of Lights.

The 2026/27 season is scheduled to run from 19 December 2026 to 7 February 2027, with a trail of illuminated installations and projections running through the park.

The route follows a figure-eight loop through the park, passing a series of illuminated installations. Projections appear on trees, paths and the water along the way.

Walking the full loop takes about 60 to 90 minutes, and the route finishes where it starts.
