The NXT Museum in Amsterdam-Noord is the first Dutch museum for new media and digital art; from 12 June 2026 to 10 January 2027 it shows 'Pioneers of Media Art: The First Years of MonteVideo'.
The exhibition revisits the early years of MonteVideo, the pioneering Dutch video and media art foundation, through large-scale audiovisual installations.
Large-scale installations make the pioneering era of Dutch media art tangible: video art at museum scale instead of a monitor image.
Open Wednesday and Thursday 11:00 to 20:30, Friday and Saturday until 22:30, Sunday until 20:30; closed Monday and Tuesday.
