Polar Experience
About the exhibition
OberhausenPolar Experience is an immersive climate exhibition on 1,600 square meters inside the OBEX hall in Oberhausen, presented by the TV science magazine Galileo (ProSieben).
The scientific partner is the Alfred Wegener Institute with polar researcher Markus Rex, organized by FKP Scorpio Entertainment and produced by Climate Education GmbH.
You travel through the Arctic and Antarctica: a 360 degree video room with six meter high walls, the expedition of the Polarstern research icebreaker and an Act Now area showing what you yourself can do about the climate crisis.
Children get the audio guide character Cosmo from Galileo Kids. The show has been running since 19 May 2026, with no end date published.
