About the exhibition
ValenciaBombas Gens. Centre d'Arts Digitals is a new digital arts centre in València: a restored former hydraulic pump factory in the Marxalenes district, opening in autumn 2026.
The heritage complex is a project of Fundació Per Amor a l'Art, which in 2024 entrusted the immersive production company Layers of Reality with its new life as a home for digital and immersive arts.
Beyond the exhibitions, the complex keeps the memory of the old factory alive, including the Refugi, the building's original air-raid shelter, which hosts immersive installations during the VOLUMENS festival.
The guided visit 'Bombas Gens: memoria habitada' opens up the history of the building, its heritage surroundings and the people who inhabited, worked in and transformed this place.
