About the exhibition
MadridLa Odisea, El Viaje Inmersivo is the autumn 2026 premiere of MAD, Madrid's dedicated immersive experience centre at Matadero, opening 18 September 2026. The production tells Homer's Odyssey with metaverse elements, VR, 360-degree projections and a holographic installation.
MAD (Madrid Artes Digitales) has made a name for large-format immersive storytelling in the Spanish capital.
The evening is built as a voyage: from Ithaca to Troy and back, carried by projection and score. The VR stations submerge you in single episodes, while the 360-degree hall delivers the panorama.
If you are visiting Madrid and want one immersive show, this is the newest large format in the city.
