Studio Lemercier - Thresholds - On the Values We Set and the Limits We Cross is the first complete Swiss presentation of the immersive light, water, mist and projection environments of Studio Lemercier at HEK (House of Electronic Arts) in Basel.
The pioneers of projection installation art since the 1990s in Paris and Versailles show the environments together with plotter drawings. The exhibition runs from 22 August to 15 November 2026.
Light, water, mist and projection build walkable environments.
In parallel, the online exhibition Casey Reas (28 August to 25 October 2026) runs on virtual.hek.ch with weekly generative sketches and software agents.
