DARK MATTER - FOREST SEASONS

DARK MATTER is Christopher Bauder's permanent light and media art museum in the Transformatorhalle in Berlin Lichtenberg. FOREST SEASONS is the 2026 special exhibition, running alongside the permanent KOLLEKTION display.

Christopher Bauder is a Berlin based media artist whose light sculptures and audiovisual installations have shaped the city's digital art scene for two decades.

You walk through a sequence of dark rooms where light bodies, lasers and projections build spaces that do not physically exist. The shows are compositions: light, sound and motion are scored together like movements in a piece of music.

FOREST SEASONS is devoted to the yearly cycle of the forest rendered in light and sound; the KOLLEKTION gathers the key works of the house.
