Dutch Design Week 2026

For nine days, Eindhoven turns into one large stage for design: Dutch Design Week is the public design festival of the Dutch Design Foundation, spread across dozens of venues in the city, from the Strijp-S area with the Klokgebouw and the Ketelhuisplein to the city centre. The 2026 edition runs from 17 to 25 October under the theme R.A.W., short for Rebel Authentic Worth.

The 2026 programme includes a digital and AI strand: on the festival website you can filter projects by the topics Digital, Intelligence, Connected and Virtual, and the Digital Future mission adds a dedicated programme focus. Around it, interactive and light-based installations run through the city alongside the exhibitions.

Dutch Design Week is experienced on foot: the venues are scattered across Eindhoven, and one day usually combines several locations. On Strijp-S, the Klokgebouw hosts large exhibitions while the Ketelhuisplein becomes an open-air setting for installations. Interactive and light-based works invite you to try things out and to stay a while.

It pays to pick a focus in advance. The programme filters for Digital, Intelligence, Connected and Virtual help you build a route around AI and digital topics, and the Digital Future mission is a good starting point for the technology side of the festival. Expect to walk a lot: with dozens of venues, one day covers only part of the programme.
