Cleopatra, La Exposición Inmersiva
02 · About the exhibition
Madrid
The immersive exhibition Cleopatra, La Exposición Inmersiva brings the world of Egypt's last queen into a fully digital setting. It is staged at MAD Madrid Artes Digitales, an immersive art venue inside Nave 16 of the Matadero Madrid complex, where the myth and reality of Cleopatra unfold through large-scale projections and interactive technology.
At its core is a room of 1,200 square meters wrapped in 360-degree projections, supported by a glasses-free 3D hologram, interactive maps, virtual reality dives to the sunken remains of Alexandria and areas devoted to the metaverse and augmented reality.
The visit opens in the main projection hall: across 1,200 square meters the imagery spreads over every surface, Cleopatra appears as a hologram that needs no glasses, and interactive maps invite you to explore the ancient world in your own way.
A virtual reality sequence then takes you down to the sunken ruins of Alexandria, while the metaverse and augmented reality areas extend the experience beyond the projection room. This is a show to walk through and try out, not just to watch.
- The exhibition is on at Nave 16 of Matadero Madrid, Plaza de Legazpi 8, 28045 Madrid, with no published end date.
- General admission costs 14.90 to 24.90 EUR depending on the day and time slot, with reduced rates for seniors and children plus family and group packs.
- Tickets are sold on the official website madridartesdigitales.com.
