About the exhibition
MadridYear of the Horse: 2026 Shanghai x Madrid AI Art Open Call is the first international AI art open call by the Madrid Spring Festival, together with IP Shanghai.
An exhibition grows out of the open call within the festival's 2026-27 programme; dates will be announced.
This entry tracks a work in progress rather than a running show: the open call collects works, the jury decides, the resulting exhibition then runs in the festival programme. For AI artists in Europe it is one of the open doors into an institutional festival programme.
