About the exhibition

Berlin

ikono Berlin is an immersive experience exhibition with 14 interactive art rooms near Alexanderplatz: from the ball pit to Yokocho to the retro arcade.

The concept comes from the ikono family, which runs similar venues in several European cities; Berlin is the German outpost.

Each room is its own set: you pose inside overhead projections, walk through glowing corridors and sink into the ball pit. The visit is closer to a playground for adults than to a museum, built from the ground up to be photographed.

Plan around one hour and come at opening time if you want your shots without crowds.

Good to know

  • Permanent venue near Alexanderplatz.
  • Built to be photo and social media friendly.
  • Single rooms may be closed for renovation.
