YULLBE WUNDERLAND - Free-Roam VR at Miniatur Wunderland

YULLBE WUNDERLAND is the free-roam VR experience at the Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg: with a VR headset and motion tracking you physically walk through a virtual version of the miniature world, shrunk to the scale of its little figures.

The Miniatur Wunderland itself is the largest model railway exhibition in the world; YULLBE adds a digital trip into that same world, seen from the perspective of its tiny inhabitants.

Unlike seated VR you move freely through the hall: the system tracks your real movement and translates it into the virtual world, where you experience the model landscape from the inside.

It combines well with the regular tour of the Wunderland: a study in contrast between craftsmanship and simulation.
