Ocean Wonders: An Immersive Dive (Port des Lumières)

Ocean Wonders: An Immersive Dive is the nature show at Port des Lumières Hamburg, running since 28 March 2026. Instead of painting, the ocean takes centre stage: whales, coral reefs and the deep sea as a 360-degree projection.

The production comes from the programme of Phoenix des Lumières in Dortmund, the sister venue of the same operator family, and runs in Hamburg in its own version.

The loop follows the path of light through the oceans: from the glittering surface past reefs down into the dark deep sea, where creatures generate their own light. The soundtrack carries the descent; the rooms grow deeper and quieter with every level.

For families with children this is the most accessible entry into the venue: no art background needed, strong imagery, a clear dramatic arc.
